AIDAN NUÑEZ joins the Owasso Band staff as an assistant director in the fall of 2026! 

Mr. Nuñez is a recent graduate of Oklahoma City University, earning his bachelor’s degree in music education. He completed his teaching internship with the Westmoore High School and Moore West Junior High band programs. He has also spent four years working on the marching band staff at Westmoore.

Mr. Nuñez is a graduate of Mustang High School, where he was a drum major for the marching band. He has been a staff member with the Texoma Marching Arts and Leadership Academy (TMALA) in Ardmore. He has maintained a private oboe studio in Oklahoma City, with his students regularly placing in region honor bands. 

He enjoys playing the oboe, pickleball, and spending time with his wife, Rachel, and daughter, Sevilla. He is looking forward to a great year and is excited to be part of an amazing team.
